Our current sermon series at Transformation House is Chosen by the King, Leadership with a Twist. When I announced the title someone said they thought Chubby Checker was going to show up. (If you're over 40, think about it. If you're younger, Google it.) The point of this series has been to show that everyone is a leader. God has given us all a role to play in someone else's life as we give them encouragement and direction. There are no barriers in God's plan, no hurdles. If you're a follower of Jesus, you're a leader of someone else. Jesus has commanded all of his disciples to make disciples.
In Acts 2, Peter explained that the outpouring of the Holy Spirit was to empower all believers: men and women, young and old, rich and poor (verses 17-18).
Do you see yourself as a leader? If not, what is holding you back? Look around, someone is following you.
